Fuzzball and Fetch™ Pet Services was created by Elizabeth Anderson, an animal behaviour and welfare expert with over 10 years experience working with cats and dogs in home environments, animal shelters and veterinary hospitals. Elizabeth has been working to help animals and pet owners have more enriched lives in the aspects of behaviour and medicine.
Elizabeth began her career with animals as a veterinary assistant, at a North Toronto animal clinic. She enjoyed assisting with many aspects of veterinary procedures, from animal handling to surgery.
Elizabeth has volunteered as an advanced level dog walker with some of the most troubled dogs, in Toronto's largest animal shelter. When the chance arose to be on staff as a Feline Behaviour Coordinator, she enthusiatically siezed the opportunity. Through this experience, she was able to enhance her knowledge and skills as an animal behaviour expert. After 6 years at the Toronto Humane Society, Elizabeth began Fuzzball and Fetch™ Pet Services as a way to offer her unique skill set to Toronto's dogs, cats and their owners.
Elizabeth remains active in the cat community, through her volunteer work with Toronto Street Cats' feral cat spay/neuter clinics, Annex Cat Rescue, as well as monitoring and maintaining a feral cat colony in Etobicoke.
